To which u/LogitechG_CSJhoe replies: "The device should still work with and without the software. To which another user u/yungwildfreee responds with:"I'm having this same problem, and I'm frankly blown away that you guys are selling this headset knowing full well it wont work. I'm afraid that unless it is connected using the USB Adapter, it will not be detected by the software." Where a comment chain between u/itslqb and u/LogitechG_CSJhoe where the latter states that:"It appears that your device doesn't really have the USB Adapter. It says that the headset has Hybrid mesh PRO-G drivers but I could not find a way to install them using G Hub because I could not get G Hub to recognise the headset.Īnother user u/itslqb had the same problem that I have in this post: I thought that the G Pro headset has 7.1 surround sound (it doesn't) but I couldn't get it to work, I thought this was because maybe I had the wrong drivers installed (the generic windows drivers instead of the G Hub ones) and that maybe it would work if I got G Hub to recognise the headset. So now I want to know if there is a way to install the headset's "Hybrid mesh PRO-G" drivers (which can only be installed using G Hub) or if the product page is lying for some reason and this headset only uses the native drivers. The post had a comment chain that eventually ended with another user saying that the headset is supposed to only use the native drivers on the computer even though in the product page: says that it has "Hybrid mesh PRO-G" drivers. TLDR: I am very confused and do not know how to install the drivers for my G Pro Headset (Not X) because I thought it had 7.1 surround sound (when it doesn't) and then I found out in this post: another user had the same problem as me.
